Key takeaway

SecureTasks and Xcitium planned to add containment to SECURE365 and introduce the 24/7 protection service in APAC in March 2022.

SECURE365 and Xcitium partnership

SecureTasks and Xcitium announced a strategic partnership to incorporate Xcitium technology and services into SECURE365. Singapore-based SecureTasks describes itself as a cybersecurity services marketplace; SECURE365 was designed as a managed security service for small and midsize businesses. The partnership would integrate Xcitium containment into that model.

Managed service and 24/7 protection

SECURE365’s utility model aimed to give small businesses security without requiring them to manage the technology or respond to attacks around the clock themselves. SecureTasks paired affordable 24/7 protection and incident response with a service model that reduced the need to build in-house security operations.

Containment and incident response

Xcitium technology assessed unknown files and code in an isolated environment while restricting access to live system resources. SecureTasks described SECURE365 as an AI-based cybersecurity incident-response platform that combined technology with 24/7 operational protection.

The partners’ regional plan

SecureTasks CEO Cameron McEachern said the company was excited to integrate Xcitium technology into the platform. Xcitium CEO Ken Levine said the partnership would provide affordable, comprehensive protection for SMBs across Asia Pacific. The partners planned to introduce SECURE365 service capabilities in APAC in March 2022.
