Key takeaway
Syspeace’s Windows Server brute-force protection was bundled with Xcitium AEP containment as a global package against ransomware and malware across servers and endpoints.
Syspeace and Xcitium bundle
On April 12, 2022, Xcitium Security Solutions and Syspeace announced a global partnership combining server and endpoint protection. Syspeace’s server module used a real-time blocklist to detect and block brute-force attacks; Xcitium Advanced Endpoint Protection isolated unknown malware for assessment while limiting its access to the live system. The bundle targeted end users, enterprises and data centers.
Protecting servers and endpoints
The package combined protection from ransomware, malware and viruses with server defenses against brute-force attempts. Syspeace CEO Hakan Andersson said the server module would be sold globally with Xcitium endpoint protection as a more complete security package. Douglas Bailey, Xcitium EVP of Alliances and Business Development, said combining the technologies helped businesses manage cyber risk before it caused damage.
Syspeace’s operating history
Syspeace said its first software version was created in 2012 and that ten years of operation had prevented more than 100 million hacking attempts by 2022. The company said the software had served customers around the clock throughout the year. Its real-time blocklist supported server protection, complemented by Xcitium’s containment of unknown files on endpoints.
Global availability
The partners said the bundle was available globally through Syspeace. Customers could obtain the Syspeace module for protecting servers against brute-force login attacks and Xcitium Advanced Endpoint Protection for endpoints in one offer.
