Thailand partnership with AquaOrange

On May 25, 2022, Xcitium Security Solutions announced a partnership with Thailand-based managed service provider AquaOrange Software. AquaOrange would offer customers Xcitium’s patented Auto-Containment technology, expanding Xcitium’s presence and support in Southeast Asia. The offer aimed to protect against zero-day attacks without disrupting the end-user experience.

AEP and Auto-Containment

Xcitium Advanced Endpoint Protection assesses unknown files in an isolated container while restricting their access to live endpoint resources. The company presented this as proactive containment against ransomware, malware and zero-day risks. Xcitium’s announcement also cited an estimate of more than 300,000 new ransomware variants each day.

Views from both companies’ leaders

Ezra Correa, Xcitium VP of Global Markets, said ransomware’s financial and operational costs could be especially severe for small and midsize businesses. Shanan Farid, AquaOrange CEO and founder, said the partnership would strengthen endpoint protection for regional customers and improve their security posture.

AquaOrange’s regional experience

AquaOrange said it had operated in Thailand for more than 21 years and worked on over 600 Zoho CRM projects. It served customers from small businesses to enterprises with consulting, implementation, training, onboarding and ongoing CRM support.
