Key takeaway

The April 25, 2022 partnership opened Distilogix’s regional VAD channel to bring Xcitium AEP to enterprise customers in the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe.

Partnership with Distilogix across three regions

On April 25, 2022, Xcitium Security Solutions announced a partnership with Dubai-based distributor Distilogix Distribution. The agreement aimed to bring Xcitium endpoint security to enterprises in the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe and strengthen regional customer support. Distilogix planned to include Xcitium in its elite partner ecosystem.

AEP and Zero Trust containment

Xcitium Advanced Endpoint Protection isolates unknown files and code in a container for assessment, restricting access to live endpoint resources. The company presented this as the foundation of AEP against known and unknown malware, ransomware and zero-day threats. Because endpoints are common attack entry points, containment lets teams examine behavior while protecting customer systems.

Leaders at Xcitium and Distilogix

Ezra Correa, Xcitium VP of Global Markets, noted that a successful breach could be financially devastating for SMBs and said the partnership would bring endpoint protection to the region. Mohd Elayyan, Distilogix CEO and Chief Security Officer, said traditional approaches were not suited to modern attacks and that Distilogix planned to make Xcitium solutions available with strong customer support.

Distilogix’s regional VAD role

Distilogix describes itself as a value-added distributor developing software technologies across the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe. It focuses on securing IT infrastructure, cloud and applications and validating customers’ security controls and posture. Xcitium added endpoint protection to that regional portfolio.
