The distributor partnership is intended to bring Xcitium ZeroDwell endpoint, MDR and XDR solutions to the Latin American channel.

Server modules connected through a shared technology network

Key takeaway

TD SYNNEX LATAM resellers can bring regional customers ZeroDwell endpoint and MDR/XDR solutions that isolate unknown files in real time.

Regional agreement with TD SYNNEX LATAM

On April 4, 2023, Xcitium announced a partnership with TD SYNNEX LATAM, a distributor and solutions aggregator for the IT ecosystem. TD SYNNEX LATAM would offer its resellers Xcitium ZeroDwell endpoint, MDR and XDR solutions, extending access to the containment and threat-protection portfolio across the regional channel.

Real-time containment of unknown threats

Xcitium said its Kernel-level API Virtualization isolates objects without a known signature or hash as they enter the environment. The company cited more than 450,000 unknown threats and files emerging daily; isolating them for assessment before access to real assets could reduce dwell time across endpoints, networks and cloud workloads. Xcitium positioned this as a way to ease alert fatigue and staffing pressure and give security teams more time for threat hunting and hardening.

Views from Xcitium and the distributor

Ezra Correa, Xcitium VP of Global Markets, described default isolation of unknown objects without disrupting business as a ZeroDwell advantage. Marcelo Murad, TD SYNNEX LATAM Vendor Director, said adding Xcitium would broaden the distributor’s portfolio and customers’ technology choices.

Reseller services and operational workload

The partnership created a channel for resellers to offer endpoint protection alongside MDR/XDR services. Xcitium described containment as a way to restrict attacks without interrupting endpoint, network or cloud operations. The company linked that approach to less time spent on false positives and more time for threat hunting and hardening.
