Server modules connected through a shared technology network

Key takeaway

TechData SYNNEX Brazil resellers would bring ZeroDwell endpoint protection and MDR/XDR services to regional customers.

Partnership with TechData SYNNEX Brazil

On February 15, 2023, Xcitium announced a partnership with TechData SYNNEX Brazil. The global IT distributor would offer Xcitium ZeroDwell endpoint, MDR and XDR technologies in Brazil through its resellers, expanding channel access to endpoint protection and managed detection and response.

ZeroDwell and operational workload

Xcitium said Kernel-level API Virtualization isolates files without a known signature or hash by default and assesses them before they reach real assets. In 2023, the company cited more than 450,000 unknown threats and files emerging daily. It said reducing dwell time across endpoints, networks and cloud could ease alert fatigue and staffing burdens, leaving security teams more time for threat hunting and hardening.

Views from Ezra Correa and Marcelo Murad

Ezra Correa, Xcitium VP of Global Markets, said the ability to contain unknown threats before damage could differentiate reseller services. Marcelo Murad, TechData Brazil Vendor Manager Director, said Xcitium would broaden the distributor’s portfolio and give customers a more protected way to use technology for business outcomes.

The distributor’s reach

TechData, part of TD SYNNEX, reported serving more than 150,000 customers in over 100 countries and working with more than 1,500 vendors. Its portfolio included cloud, cybersecurity, big data and analytics, IoT, mobility and XaaS. That network gave Brazilian resellers an established channel for taking Xcitium to customers.
