Key takeaway

In 2022, Xcitium ZeroDwell received CRN’s Tech Innovator award in endpoint protection and Cyber Defense Magazine’s Top InfoSec Innovator award.

Two cybersecurity awards

On November 17, 2022, Xcitium announced two awards for ZeroDwell Containment: the 2022 CRN Tech Innovator Security Award in Endpoint Protection and Cyber Defense Magazine’s Top InfoSec Innovator Award 2022 in Security: Endpoint Protection. CRN finalists included Cisco Secure Client, BeachheadSecure for MSPs, Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management and Sophos Intercept X.

Ken Levine on ZeroDwell

Xcitium CEO Ken Levine described the company’s model as assessing unknown threats in real time and containing them before they affect endpoints, networks and company assets. He said this approach could help CISOs and channel partners reduce the economic and operational costs of attacks.

Perspectives from CRN and Cyber Defense Magazine

The Channel Company CEO Blaine Raddon said CRN Tech Innovator Awards recognize vendors advancing digital transformation with distinctive products and services. Gary Miliefsky of Cyber Defense Media Group welcomed Xcitium among the selected cybersecurity innovators for 2022. The Top InfoSec Innovator competition included thousands of product and service providers.

Technology for channel partners

Xcitium presented containment of unknown threats as the foundation for endpoint protection, with M/XDR as a further layer for monitoring and hardening. The company said containment gave security teams time to investigate threats while restricting their impact on the working environment. The model was intended to complement channel partners’ services.
